NORD SIGNALS DISPATCH exists to help readers understand world affairs, business, and culture with clarity and rigor. This policy explains the standards we hold ourselves to, from sourcing through publication and correction.

1. Sourcing Standards

We prioritize primary sources — original documents, on-the-record interviews, and direct observation — and corroborate significant claims with at least two independent sources wherever possible. Anonymous sources are used only when a source faces genuine risk from being named, and only with the approval of a senior editor.

2. Fact-Checking Process

Every article passes through editorial review before publication. Factual claims, quotations, statistics, and names are verified against original sources. Where full verification is not possible before a fast-moving story publishes, this is clearly noted in the piece and updated as facts are confirmed.

3. Corrections Policy

We correct errors promptly and transparently. Material corrections are noted at the bottom of the corrected article with the date and nature of the change. Readers can flag a suspected error to our editorial team.

4. Independence & Conflicts of Interest

Editorial decisions are made independently of advertising, sponsorship, and any commercial relationship. Journalists disclose personal or financial interests relevant to their coverage and are recused from stories where a conflict exists.

5. Use of AI Tools

Where AI tools assist with research, translation, or production — for example, transcription or headline drafting — that work is subject to the same editorial review as any other draft, and factual claims are independently verified by a human editor before publication. AI is not used to fabricate quotes, sources, or events.
